The Big Pink - or The Big as I think they should be known - there's nothing pink about these methodical music munchers - they fall like.....dark, brooding atmospheric dub anthemic, my new word, rockers - vest & T's stating 'Safe In heaven, dead' - 'Sonic Youth' - samples overdub the rhythm section - token duffus stands...sways...all over the shop, spilling drink - god it wouldn't be the same without him - but these London based driller killers aint worried about 1 jerk - he's just a spec on the hair on the pimple on the spot on the leg on the body of the beast - that is The Big....sound...The Big ....hair.....The Big ....light show.....The Big ......audience......The Big impact this 4 piece marauding mystical machine are making on black & white - only colours these dudes know - you love em - you hate em - bright white lights or blackout - I can honestly say I didn't see any signs of even a smidgeon of fuscia - wide sub bass - reverb aplenty - build em up knock em down - The Big Pink - just like their dominoes....
